Camping assistant Robin, a chatbot for camping sites
Holiday Media has created a chatbot together with Flow.ai and Camping de Lakens to help website visitors find a suitable accommodation or camping spot.
Camping de Lakens was known for some time with a chat function. This was frequently used by visitors. The selection of frequently asked questions mainly consisted of questions about the availability of the cottages and tent pitches on the campsite.
Answering ever-recurring questions requires a lot of time and effort, which is why it was asking for a more efficient approach.
Creating a solution
The Holiday Media link between the HolidayAgent booking platform and the Flow.ai chatbot offers space for specific booking questions. For example: “Is there still room for my tent between July 14 and July 20?”.
The chatbot immediately shows all possible places that are still available with the corresponding prices. A clear call-to-action button gives the guest the opportunity to start a booking right away.
Using the chatbot not only automates many recurring questions, but also saves a lot of time that can be used efficiently to improve the customer service.
Because of the possibility to take over a chat as an employee, questions outside the spectrum of the chatbot are well received.
