Zapier is an online service that allows you to integrate your chatbot with all sorts of different apps and tools. You can easily extract user data within Flow.ai and push that data to other tools like Hubspot, Google Spreadsheets, Salesforce and many other tools.
As long as our Zapier integration is in Beta, the Flow.ai team needs to invite you. Make sure that you have a Zapier account and apply by clicking the Install Now button on our Zapier integration page. We will send you an invite by email manually.
How to create a Zap
Create a Zapier account and log in at your Zapier Dashboard. Click Make a Zap in the top right corner.
A Zap start with a 'When this happens' sections and ends with a 'Do this' section.
When this happens
- Choose App and Event Select Flow.ai as App and a Zapier action or Handover event. Within this example we've selected Zapier action.
Choose Account Sign in to Flow.ai with your Flow.ai account.
Customize Action Give a title to your Zapier action (required) and select the project where you would like to integrate your Zap with (required).
If you are planning to incorporate parameters from your Flow.ai design you can add those Param names here (optional).
- Find Data Here is a sample from the data that can be used for Zaps. If you are using parameters, you can check if your parameters exists in the received data.
There are over 1500 different Apps to use. Here we'll show you how to create a new row in Google Spreadsheets.
Select Create Spreadsheet Row in Google Sheets and choose your account, spreadsheet and worksheet. Make sure to have a header name in your spreadsheet.
In this example we want to use parameters from our Flow.ai design and insert them on new rows in the spreadsheet. Therefore we fill the 'Favorite Animal" field with the value of a param that we obtain in Flow.ai. Click continue, test and turn on your Zap.
